Dear Ferndale Chamber of Commerce,

I wanted to take a moment at the end of another busy year to recognize one of your members for going out of his way to be a school friendly buisiness with outstanding customer service. I have been using Kurt’s Kustom Graphics for the past year for our schools silk screening needs. I have always been very satisfied with Kurt and his staff. You can’t beat Kurt’s prices and clothing quality. I appreciate a good product at a good price, but what I admire most about Kurt and his staff is their wonderful attitude and commitment to the customer.

Here is my story. Our sixth grade had planned a trip to Toronto this spring. We ordered 175 t-shirts with silk screening to commemorate the trip. Kurt made the shirts and they looked excellent. As the trip neared the SARS epidemic broke and we ended up switching our trip to Chicago. We now had 175 shirts commemorating a trip to Toronto and we were headed for Chicago. I called Kurt and asked him what we could do? Even though he had fulfilled his obligation, and had no responsibility for the trip change, he volunteered his staff’s talents to work with our school staff to create an artistic adjustment to the existing shirts. We sent them all back at short notice and he and his staff re-ran each shirt with the newly adjusted slogan. The shirts ended up being a big hit and all was saved. The re-working and re-running of the shirts on short notice was greatly appreciate but to really make the story great Kurt provided this service at his expense, free of charge to the school!

I’m sure that there are plenty of “great business people” in this world, I am happy to share with you that Kurt happens to be “a great person in business”. Kurt’s Kustom Graphics will be supplying my shirts as long as I am in charge of a school.

Great effort as usual with regards to the Dan’s Concepts in Catering signage project. Kurt’s Kustom Graphics has been invaluable to me as I grow this business of 11 years of mine.
